Driving, Commuting and Parking Directions
Directions to UCLA: From the North (San Fernando Valley, Burbank, Central California Valley): Take the 405 freeway south through the Sepulveda Pass. Take Sunset Boulevard east until Royce Drive on the UCLA campus. Take a right on Royce Drive (Stone Canyon Drive above. Royce is the new name for Stone Canyon Drive on the UCLA campus. The GSE&IS Building is on the corner of Royce Drive and Charles E. Young Drive North.
From the South
(LAX, Orange County, San Diego):
Take
the 405 freeway north until the Sunset Boulevard exit. Once on
Sunset Boulevard heading east, follow the instructions above.
From the
East (Downtown Los Angeles, the Inland Empire):
Take
the 10 freeway east until the 405 freeway. Take the 405 freeway
north until the Sunset Boulevard exit. Once on Sunset Boulevard
heading east, follow the instructions above
Parking
Daily parking permits: $10.00 - available from a UCLA Parking & Information Booth
A local area map displays the GSE&IS Building, Moore Hall, and nearby parking lots and information booths where parking passes may be obtained.
For the GSE&IS Building:
- Closest information booth is on Westwood Plaza off of Sunset Boulevard. This booth may not be open at all times. Please consult the local area map for hours of operation.
- Closest parking lots are 3 and 5. You may only park on levels 1, 2, 3, and 6 in Lot 5, and you need to exit and re-enter the garage to access each level. Do not park in spaces labeled "Blue Permit Only."
For Moore Hall:
- Closest information booth is off of Westholme and Hilgard Avenues. This booth may not be open at all times. Please consult the local area map for hours of operation.
- Closest parking lot is 2. Do not park in spaces labeled "Blue Permit Only."
Friday Forum Workshops: Those attending a Friday Forum workshop will receive a parking confirmation number a few days prior to the workshop enabling them to purchase a parking pass for Lot 3. The passes must be purchased from a UCLA Parking & Information Booth before driving to Lot 3.
