Erin McGuirl

Erin McGuirl has been the Executive Director of the Bibliographical Society of America since 2018. In her work with the Society, Director McGuirl is committed to working with the Council to build a more accessible and nurturing community of bibliographers and historians of the material text. 

Trained as a special collections librarian, Director McGuirl has worked for over a decade with institutional and private collections in New York City. Her research on non-letterpress printed matter has been supported over the years by the Bibliographical Society of the UK, Rare Book School, and the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas, Austin.
